In October of each year the Thomas Jefferson Chapter hold its Annual Garden Party.  

In addition to their duties at the Monticello Naturalization Ceremony, the Thomas Jefferson Chapter Color Guard also provided services for the Annual DAR ceremonies at Jefferson's Grave on the 4th of July. 

During 2013,  the Thomas Jefferson Chapter presented two flag certificates.  One of those certificates went to Liberty High School in Bedford, Virginia.  In addition to the certificate a new national standard was presented to replace the worn flag that had been flown during that school year. 

Past TJ President Patrick Kelly represented the  chapter at the 2013 Martins Station Ceremony in May

The Thomas Jefferson Chapter was represent by Past President Phil William current Vice President Mark Chapman and other Compatriots at the annual Charlottesville Memorial Day Ceremony

Chapter President Mark Day represented the Thomas Jefferson Chapter and presented a wreath at the Annual Crossing of the Dan Ceremony in South Boston, VA.

On June 23rd members of the Thomas Jefferson Chapter along with the Virginia State Society Sons of the American Revolution and many of the Virginia Chapter Presidents attended a wreath ceremony, in which the President General of the SAR placed a wreath on the Grave of Thomas Jefferson. 

Members of the VASSAR color guard, including Pete Davenport and Mark  Day, observe the dedication ceremony for the Convention Army roadside marker on May 5th.
